The Hollow Lantern
The Hollow Lantern is a story-first adventure where you explore an abandoned coastal town, piece together what happened to its people, and solve environmental puzzles along the way. The atmosphere is the real star: foggy streets, flickering lamps, and a soundtrack that knows exactly when to go quiet.
You interact by tapping objects and dragging items into place, classic adventure stuff. The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, so you rarely need a guide. We like that it trusts you to notice details instead of dumping hints everywhere. A notebook auto-tracks clues, which keeps longer sessions from feeling confusing.
It's not a long game, maybe four or five hours, but it's paced beautifully and never overstays its welcome. If you want a slow, atmospheric evening rather than endless grinding, this is a great pick.
