About

AmberFox Play started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of mobile games we couldn't stop playing. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are. The site is small, independent, and run by people who actually finish the games before talking about them.

We focus on RPGs and adventure titles, but we don't ignore a good strategy game or a quick arcade racer when one grabs us. Every game you see in our catalogue was installed, played for at least several sessions, and judged on how it holds up over time rather than in the first ten minutes.

Nobody pays us to put a game in the catalogue. We pick titles because they do something interesting with story, pacing, or progression, and we're happy to say when something falls flat. If a mechanic annoyed us, you'll read about it.

The goal is simple: help you spend your limited gaming time on things that are actually fun. If one of our write-ups saves you a wasted download, we did our job.
